Outstanding Clerk of the Year awards announced

Janine Schmidt, village clerk of Morrill, Neb., Kellie Crowell, city clerk of Ravenna, Neb., and Erin Saathoff, city clerk of Beatrice, Neb., received the Nebraska Municipal Clerks’ Association’s 2023 Outstanding Clerk of the Year Award in their respective award categories. The awards were presented at the annual banquet of the Nebraska Municipal Clerks’ Association held in March in Kearney, Neb.

Schmidt received the award in the Village class, Crowell received the award in the second-class city category and Saathoff received the award in the first-class city category.

This is the highest honor awarded by the Nebraska Municipal Clerks’ Association.
