NMPP Energy receives Governor's Wellness Award

NMPP Energy was among 31 Nebraska businesses to recently receive the 2026 Governor’s Wellness Award, highlighting efforts to foster culture of workplace wellness.

“The Governor's Wellness Award recognizes organizations that are leading the way in creating supportive, health-focused workplaces," said Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen. “By making wellness a strategic priority and investing in their employees, these organizations are strengthening engagement, promoting healthier lives, and creating workplaces and communities where people feel empowered to thrive."

NMPP Energy received the Grower Award, which recognizes organizations that have developed and enhanced their wellness programs and can demonstrate that those efforts are positively influencing employee health behaviors.

Each award recipient demonstrated a strong commitment to helping employees build healthy habits, stay engaged, and thrive both personally and professionally through innovative, employee-centered programs.
