ACE, the Public Alliance for Community Energy, is the only community-owned, not-for-profit natural gas supplier in the Nebraska Choice Gas program. It is the retail natural gas supply organization of NMPP Energy.
ACE formed in 1998 by Nebraska communities to compete in the Choice Gas program for you, the customer, in order to ensure competition in the program. Today, it includes 70 member communities and one public power district and serves more than 28,000 accounts.
ACE is not your typical natural gas supplier. It doesn’t strive to maximize profits at customers’ expense and it doesn’t send those profits to out-of-state shareholders. It is owned and governed by its member communities with the main objective of offering competition in the Choice Gas program so customers can get the lowest natural price possible.
