ACE Board approves Village of Winside as new member

The ACE (Public Alliance for Community Energy) Board of Directors recently approved the Village of Winside, Neb., as the newest ACE member community. The Village, with a population of approximately 364, is located in Wayne County in northeast Nebraska.

As an ACE community member, the Village will have representation on the ACE Board and be eligible to receive funds from ACE’s Revenue Distribution Program. ACE’s overall membership now includes 76 Nebraska communities and one public power district.

ACE is the community-owned natural gas supplier in the annual Nebraska Choice Gas program. ACE is owned and governed by its Nebraska member communities and serves as an advocate for natural gas consumers in the program.
