The Public Alliance for Community Energy (ACE) is the not-for-profit, retail natural gas supply organization of NMPP Energy and was formed in 1998 to compete in the first natural gas customer choice program in Nebraska.
A group of Nebraska communities saw this as an opportunity to take charge of their natural gas rates by supplying competitively priced natural gas themselves and keeping the revenues in the state to benefit all communities.
Today, ACE supplies natural gas to more than 28,000 customers in Nebraska. ACE has grown to include 70 communities and one public power district.
