Public Alliance for Community Energy - ACE

ACE, the Public Alliance for Community Energy, is a municipally-owned, not-for-profit natural gas supplier in the Nebraska Choice Gas program. It is one of four organizations of NMPP Energy, located in downtown Lincoln, Neb. ACE is owned by 69 member communities and one public power district and supplies natural gas to nearly 28,000 customers.

ACE was created in 1998 to introduce competition in the Nebraska Choice Gas program on behalf of its member communities. Since its beginning, ACE has worked tirelessly to lower natural gas prices to all consumers in the Choice Gas program through competition.

As the only community-owned, not-for-profit supplier in the program, ACE can return any revenue above the cost of operation to its ACE communities. To date, ACE has returned more than $845,000 back to its members to enhance their communities however they choose.
