The Nebraska Choice Gas program is an annual program provided by SourceGas that gives customers the opportunity to choose a natural gas supplier and pricing option that best suits their needs. The program was implemented in 1998 for residential, commercial and agricultural customers of the SourceGas (formerly Kinder Morgan) distribution system.
SourceGas is the distributor for the western two-thirds of Nebraska. All customers who have SourceGas as their distributor have the opportunity to choose their natural gas supplier.
Customers choose their gas supplier the last two weeks of April every year. The program year begins June 1 and runs through May 31 of the following year. SourceGas mails the Choice Program selection packets each year prior to the start of the selection period. The selection period begins April 18, 2008 and ends on May 1, 2008.
