Ansley was one of the first member communities of ACE, joining in February of 1998.

The village of 520 residents received more than $7,000 in ACE revenue distribution funds. The community used the money for enhancements such as new awnings at the community pool and benches and picnic tables for the local park and welcome flags for Main Street.

“As a member community of ACE, we feel like we are providing the best possible opportunity for our residents to receive a fair and competitive price for natural gas,” said City Clerk/Treasurer Lanette Doane. “This opportunity would not be available if municipalities did not ban together in the best interests of our citizens.”

Ansley is located in Custer County in Central Nebraska.
